ブローチ　さくら    Brooch Cherry blossom

襟元に丁度一輪のさくらが舞い降りたような繊細な彫刻です。ほぼ実際の桜の大きさです。

A delicately carved cherry blossom brooch as if the real flower has just been placed on the collar.It is about the size of the actual flower.

ブローチ　カット  A Brooch with a gem cut design

石をカットしたようなイメージのブローチです。下に塗った黒や緑色を研ぎ出すことで、爽やかな印象をかもしだしています。

ブローチ　紅梅  Brooch 'Koubai'(Red plum blossoms)

古典的な図柄でありながらモダンでどこか愛らしい一輪のうめをブローチにしてみました。鎌倉彫らしいヒクチ塗りの色合いです。

A modern and pretty plum blossom brooch.While plum blossom designs are traditional and loved by japanese people since ancient times.It has tints of "Hikuchi-nuri" technique which is a unique lacquering process of Kamakura-bori.

ブローチ　いちょう  Brooch Ginkgo

散歩道で拾ったイチョウの葉をそのまま胸に飾ってあげたいと思った。

スケッチした葉を傍において彫刻。

色彩は金粉に託した。

While on a walk, Ⅰdiscoverd a ginkgo leaf, which was so beautiful Ⅰ wanted to wear it as a brooch.

Ⅰ drew a sketch of the leaf and used this sketch to guide me while carving the brooch.

When the carving was complete Ⅰapplied golden powder for its colour.
